Who We Are
Lio Global is an investment-migration advisory firm. Our remit covers second residency, second citizenship, and real-estate-backed migration — three pillars held under one mandate so the decisions that overlap on a principal's file are not fragmented across three firms.
We are deliberately small. The principal you speak with at discovery is the principal you speak with at grant. The mandate is yours, the work is bespoke, and the fee structure is transparent on the engagement letter.
The firm's positioning sits closer to a private bank than to an immigration agency. We do not work commission-only, we do not push the highest-margin programme, and we say so when a programme is wrong for the file.
The Founder
Nadia Read Thaele founded LIO Global (Pty.) Ltd. in 2014 and continues to lead the firm as Founder & Managing Director. The firm has advised high-net-worth principals and families on residency, citizenship, and real-estate-backed migration across more than seventeen government-approved programmes since.
Quoted in Bloomberg on South African high-earners' exodus and the Caribbean CBI route, Nadia is the principal point of contact on every senior mandate the firm carries. The advisory operates by appointment only — the principal a client speaks with at discovery is the principal who is on the file at grant.

Our seventeen government-approved programmes span Europe (Greece, Italy, Portugal, Malta, Cyprus), the Caribbean (Grenada, Antigua & Barbuda, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, Dominica), North America (USA EB-5, Canada), the Gulf (UAE), the Indian Ocean (Mauritius), Eurasia (Turkiye), and the Pacific (Nauru).
